- Valid original Passport
- Photocopies of passport relevant pages
- One (1) application form duly completed & signed
- One (1) recent passport size photo for visa application ; 35 mm x 45 mm colored borderless photo for passport renewal
- An Airline's print out on a return air ticket or a confirmed hotel reservation from Nepal, for Tourist purposes
- Signed letter from Employer stating purpose of travelling
- Signed invitation letter or formal notification from Company / Workshop / Seminar / Conference explaining purpose of visit & addresses in Nepal, indicating who is going to pay for the expenses / accommodation
- Proof of sufficient funds or evidence of maintenance in host country
- Consulate requires 1 weeks to process Visa if approved and subject to paying all fees in advance, which is NON-REFUNDABLE
- Single Entry Visa US $50.00 for 15 days ; US $65 for 30 days ; US $140 for 90 days
There is no legal right to a visa. A visa is not a guarantee to enter Nepal. The final approval remains the competence of the Immigration Office at the border of Nepal.
PASSPORT RENEWAL FOR NEPALESE NATIONALS
- Original Passport

- Five (5) recent 35 mm x 45 mm colored borderless photo
- citizen ID photocopy four (4) copies
- Consulate requires 2 months to process and subject to paying all fees in advance, which is NON-REFUNDABLE

PROCEDURE:
Nationals of Africa MUST be referred to the Nepalese Consulate of Kenya for visa approval.
- The process is to scan and e-mail the relevant information i.e. copy of passport and the application form.
- The cost of this transaction is US$ 20.00
- Response from the Nepalese Consulate of Kenya may take 1 – 2 weeks.
Nationals of Europe residing in East Africa or visiting, may obtain visas without reference to the Nepalese Consulate of Kenya.
United Nations (U.N.) Passport holders may obtain visas at the Consulate or at the Port of Entry in Nepal upon arrival.
Nationals of Africa or anywhere else who are originally Nepalese or belong to a Nepalese family may obtain visas without reference to the Nepalese Consulate of Kenya
